Is it Wise to Talk on a Cell Phone while Pushing a Baby Stroller?
by Anthonism
Many people would argue that talking on the cell phone while pushing a baby stroller is unsafe. Others believe that it is no big deal. Undoubtedly, the people who find it to be "no big deal" are the ones talking on the cell phone while running other people over on the sidewalk. Unfortunately, due to the fact that this person's mind is so focused on the phone conversation with what little attention span they have left reserved for the baby's welfare, they become oblivious to the people they are pissing off around them. So, of course, it is no big deal to them.
In NYC, quite often, a mother or nanny can be seen unwittingly pushing their baby stroller into traffic because they aren't paying attention to their surroundings. In almost every instance where you see this occur, you will also see a cell phone glued to their ear or their thumbs punching away at a text on their "smart" phone. Not so smart is it? But hey, surely that phone call was important enough to put that child's life in danger, right?
Stupid, Ignorant, or Asshole?
